England's "Green" Park

In Cornwall, England, Britain has built a 101 million dollar theme park named "Eden"dedicated to educate the masses on global warming as well as to entertain, and so far it has been doing well. The theme park attracted more than 9 million visitors in its opening of 2001 and is one Britain's 20 favorite top new buildings of the past 20 years. Britain sets an example of how an awareness in climate change is being put in to everyday life and helping people learn to contribute to stop global warming. America has also tried to make a similar park called "earthpark" but has been denied approval for several years and has finally been set for opening in 2010. The reason why Earthpark had been denied is because of its profitability. I think that Britian's efforts to set an example is a good way to help a group of people whether it be a community, a country or the entire world, aim to reach goals that help the world become a better place.
